IPS is a bit more than a FLAPS. Although they are local. They are huge in the BMW and Audi groups selling parts world wide. I would not be surprised if the rebuilds come from the same house that PP gets theirs.

Sealant. I did not know what to use. My mechanic buddy (owns his own well known local shop) tells me that if the surfaces are free of defects to install the gasket with nothing on them. But, the manual says to use goop. I posed that question to Rick at IPS this morning and he said there were options, but the German guys like using Reinzosil-t by Victor Reinz. I picked up a tube.

I also have a tube of Hylomar that I use on the KTM. Hmmmmm.... decisions decisions..
