In the mid 70's a fellow Porsche Racer by the name of Jim Cook had Centerline build wheels that fit our 911. Several of us on the West Coast purchased 15x15in Centerlines to run on the rear of our GTU Race cars and 10x15 on the front. They were strong and fairly light. Ducting on the solid centers were a must. Later, Jim supplied us with the type that Byron pictured. The rears were reduced to 12x15 because IMSA changed the rules on the GTU widths. Jim supplied these to us at a very reasonable price compared to the Factory Alloys. They were also 1in wider than the 11in Factory Alloy.
I still have three of the 12x15in wheels. One of which I have never mounted. I have not been too willing to part with mine since Jim passed away during a IMSA Race and he was a special special person. His efforts for the privateer racers have been surely missed!
