You should set a budget then find one accordignly.
I run a Paradigm center and sub and B&W's front and rear (Bookshelf models) and the sound is fantastic. I used to have cheap front and rears, but I wanted more so bought the 685's new and found the 686's on an audiofile site used.
Read a lot of the reviews because there are some small systems that are great, but a lot that aren't.
