Black one found my brother, decided he was my wife's dog. Light colored one hopped into Mom's Caddy one cold and rainy day, Dad was less than pleased about the muddy dog/leather upholstery combo. Dog decided she was mine after not working out with a few other homes my brother found for her.
Two dogs partner up, you just want the right one to be the dominant dog. With three or more, they tend to gang up on each other, 2 on 1.
