Toto toilets in Japan have gizmos...when you sit it turns on and waits for a command. There is a control panel on your right...never figured it out...just learned to not touch the control panel. LOL.
Today's low flush (less than a gallon per flush) toilets are terrible. You have to flush twice which negates the water savings.

Custom kitchens and baths has been 40-50% of our business for 20 years. Just a few years back, I had the joy of install one of those Toto seat warmer butt shooter seats for a Chinese lady married to a Japanese man in their Master bath. This one was remote control (a pad on the wall). Not the cheapo mounted to the side
I wanted to try the warm butt washer when we got done with thejob to see what the fuss was about. I wanted to be the first to use it, but decided to not do it. It would not be the right thing to do and I just might like it too much. Who knows? I still don't know how it cleans one's rear after you take a dump. The French came up with the idea, right? I think I like my cheap Costo toilet paper better.
