go to M-14 forums and join and then ask the questions whose close to your area.
or...............................
go to brownells/midway and buy the super zoomy very expensive entire trigger group for the m-25/m-21/super matches(they are all the same) and just drop it in in a heartbeat. butt.................this will DQ you from highpower DCM matches.
my sons "loaded" in comparison to both the SOCOM and the SUPER DUPER MATCH trigger groups that phil smoothed out(legal for DCM) , had a lil bit of creep, before letoff and BANG! wasnt even bothersome enough to even suggest a trigger job to my kid as he doesnt have the bucks to dump into it. as he progresses, and becomes proficient, and starts shooting iron site highpower out to 1000yds, then i will suggest it to him. or he will figure it out when he shoots either my SOCOM or SUPER DUPER MATCH one after another and FEELS the DIFFERENCE!
i can deal with the creep as i AM THE ARMOURER and i get to dry fire them, clean them, lovingly grease them, lovingly lube them, lovingly stroke them...............and i KNOW when its going from creep to click/bang.
as a 22 yr old kid.....................i am not even going to turn his brain to mush mentioning the trigger creep. hell his brain is gonna turn to MUSH when i MAKE HIM pull the op rod/pull the piston with the correct tools, pull the op rod guide, op rod spring, pull the handguard with the correct pliers, pull the flash hider/castle nut w/the correct pliers....................and leave him with a POO LOAD OF PARTS all piled and mixed up together and LET HIM FIGURE THE DAMN THING OUT LIKE I HAD TO ON MY OWN!
hahahahahaha. that is the ONLY WAY to learn yer spoon backwards and forwards inside/and out.
learn it live it KNOW IT becuz........................THIS IS MY RIFLE! THERE ARE MANY LIKE IT! BUT THIS IS MY RIFLE!........................................
