Drill and retap it. I just did it with the engine still in the car laying on my back, with a hand drill, and no jig, and somehow it worked. So its not that bad. Cut the stud flush to the head, center punch it, drill a small pilot hole, drill out with your 8mm bit or whatever matched the tap, then tap it. Just make sure you drill straight! Good as new

BTW i tried that stud removal kit and it didnt work for me, just snapped my stud even more.
