the engine is crated and scheduled for shipment today..hope to receive by tuesday of next week. i removed the factory turbo tail this morning...man...those things are really heavy. i have a metal frame fiberglass top ducktail that i will most likely put on the car. personally the ducktail is my preference over any of the earlier tails. now what do i do about the porsche rear reflector?? with the lighter weight of the LS7 engine, removal of the turbo tail, and the removal of the oil tank, lines and thermostat i am hoping to reduce the rear weight of the car by at least 125 pounds. already have lexan rear window and quarter windows. probably will removed the sound pad in the rear as well....might actually reduce a few more pounds.
