Not many swallowing/speech/headache...problems can be diagnosed by a straight forward x-ray of a fella's grape. Fortunately for this guy, it works great for finding a giant knife stuck in your head!!
I suppose that depending on where he was seen in China, a simple x-ray could be cutting edge stuff...
however, chiropracters "see" all sorts of stuff on obligatory preliminary x-rays. As already mentioned, an MRI would have been a disaster.
