I know this works on 911 heater knobs.... Toss some rit dye in a coffe can with some boiling water and drop the plastic parts in..... Leave them in as long as it takes to achieve the shade you want then rinse them off and re-install in the car.

Of course the easiest fix for that black stalk would be a black Sharpie.

The company I work for is working with Bayer on developing a color infusion system for plastics... It is similar to the Rit Dye procedure but uses different chemicals and can use huge variety of dyes many of which are extremely fade resistant. We have a lab here at work and can color most types of plastics in a matter of seconds vs sometimes hours for the simple Rit Dye type process.
