No marks on the slide at all, the serial number on the slide and frame are mismatched and they both date the gun to 1945. The bluing, machining, etc... is a bit more primitive (rough) than the Manurhin variety I am comparing it to, but there is very little wear, hardly any rust pitting, etc... The aftermarket grips are horrible, but the holster is a WWII German holster and the 2 mags are Walthers.
