You may only need to use low octane to pass as well as fresh oil change and new plugs if they aren't
no other codes??
OBDI = 1266 VANOS System: Check the wiring or the relay associated with the VANOS system (variable camshaft adjustment).
find relay and test it...it may be possible to bypass the relay as a secondary test, though not for use in daily driving.
you don't need to pay for the cert guy
