How to pay for a project car
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same. The guy was asking $6500 and he was pretty firm. I got him to go to $5500 but I thought that was still too high. I don't think you could even part it out and get your money back at that price. The only thing it has going for it is that it is complete and original. Even though, it seems that the hot rod cars are bringing as much money as the original Ts. I am in the middle of a project now and this would sit until next winter before I could start on it anyway. I would be doing all of the work myself so that helps with the resto costs. I actually am doing these more for the enjoyment of creating something than the profit etc. Still, I think I might wait for a better car to start with.
