A coworker and her husband have tried just about every died to help lower his cholesterol and get him off meds...
Only thing that has worked so far is a vegan diet, and after 6 months that has only dropped him about 30 points - about half his goal.
As said above, if you jones, go for something good for ya... I'd say venison, elk, or any other game meat. Very very very low in fat and cholesterol compared to anything store bought.
