We got a couple rounds of heavy 4-6" snow in Mich tonight. Been shoveling more than I'd wish. Ran the snowblower down to the end of the blocks a couple of times. Old lady neighbor thanked me. I was feeling a bit socialist, or mabye a bit human.

Funny Subaru blizzard incident:
-On the drive back, there was someone in the right lane that had a very difficult time staying on the narrow plowed track. The streets were a mess. Left lane, right lane, both were the same. Couldn't see anything.
-That lead car was followed by a crown vic taxi which kept it's distance. I hod way, way back to let them figure out if the road was 1 or 2 lane. I didn't care. Some cars are total crap in snow. At least everybodys moving. This was a blizzard.
-Then some jerk(probably from out of state) comes up from behind and lays on its horn. "Move out of my way", he says. "I'm very important, and I'm in a hurry".
-This is an early sunday night.
-I stay the course behind the other two and just ignore him. The drifts on the road were at least 6" deep. Easy enough to spin out and cause major trouble.
-Slow and easy. Everybody gets there. I surmize the jerk would prefer that result rather than a punch to his knucklehead skull.
-I wait for the clear. No need to push on a curve. The lead car finds it's track and the cab slowly moves in behind it to follow. Left lane is now open with no oncomming traffic. Who would be stupid enough to drive in this weather anyway?
-I pull forward gradually until clear of the nearbye moving vehicles. At any point in this I maintain the ability to avoid, stop and/or pull over and help.
-Mr-agressive-honking-jerk behind me still wants to push a bad situation into worse. Mr. Ego.
-Ooops.
-In less than a few blocks of an empty straightaway his headlights dissapear.
-Bu-bye Mr. Ego.
-Guess he wasn't in a hurry after all, or really all that important. He just wanted to make himself important.
-He thought wrong.
-He didn't have Subaru power.
