OK, So you had an accident. Live and learn. Believe me it could have been worse.

I once cut the tip of my finger almost off with a Leatherman tool. Damn blade folded back as I was trying to trim a piece of wood.
I drew it back whilst it was still touching the wood. Yes I know stupid move.
I threw it in a draw and haven't used it since. I'll only use rigid blades or retracting razor blades now.
