Thanks for the responses guys. I kind of thought that is where it would be about, and sadly I know it would cost more to tackle the issues then the car would probably be worth for quite some time.

I ask because I have a chance at a fully restored 75, and would obviously need to get out from the '69. I love the car, I really do, but I am also a realist. Being 26 years old, I don't foresee walking into money to just kiss away.
