There are some others posts here. Do a search. I've heard that it's not that hard. I've also heard that the problem is that if it's harvested prematurely, then it's too soft. It seems to be "in" and fits in with the current green thing these days. I'd like to have some, but it seems you have to get just the right stuff or it won't hold up.

Also, hardwood can be refinished, but I don't think bamboo can.
