And, sorry, but as I predicted many years ago, this all started with the Cayenne. That was the beginning of the end. Porsche had survived for 50 years as the maker of the world's finest sportscars, practical exotics. It owned that niche and could have survived in it, as it did for half a century. It's change in philosophy, to try to increase sales at any cost, and ultimately to try to become a huge maker (by ultimately trying to acquire VW), was it's downfall.
So, all the "Cayenne is great, as long as it allows Porsche to remain independent and continue building the 911" people, this is where it ends.
