Look at the great tech article Pelican has on engine removal. Only hidden ones are the top bolt for the starter comes out from the engine side, and the ground strap is easy to forget. Don't force things look for something that got overlooked.
I use a pair of refrigerator rollers under the engine out of the car. I've supported the engine by using cinder blocks under the heads but in hindsighta much better way is to put the blocks uder the ends of the engine bar, and one at the back of the block. This should give you enough room to drain the oil. I don't see why the oil needs to come out though?
Just whatever you do, be careful not to dent the pushrod tubes.
