Did you check to see if your had the passenger side shock and brackets/ tabs on your 1977 Carrera 3.0 ?
From looking again a second time at your photo , it does not look like your have it , I just want to make sure.
Also would you mind giving out your Chassis number , I was going to have someone I know , who has access to the records, check just to make sure it was originally built with spoilers (M473) originally.
I am trying to figure out some associated pieces that might come with rear spoilers . And from your car (and looking hard at the parts books) , I think the second shock only comes with A/C.
