My '76 C3 had the factory optional 7 & 8 x15 Fuchs w/ 205/50 & 225/50 tires
std for C3 in '76 was 6 & 7 x15 w/ 185/70 7 215/60 tires
for '77 the above were still std and opt. but there was an additional opt 6 & 7 x16 w/ 205/55 & 225/50 x16
Unfortunately I lost the original fender height measures but on mine w/ 7 & 8, 205/50 & 225/50 x15 only the tips of my shoes would fit under the front lip spoiler
