spent the last few days trying to determine headers. i am using a Stainless Headers kit to prototype the headers. this kit is comprised of various components that allow one to mock up headers with the engine in place. this mock up is sent to Stainless Headers and they fabricate a very nice set of custom stainless headers in the desired tube size, etc. i am going to ask for 1 7/8 tubes with a 3 inch collector. space is fairly limited in the engine bay, primarily to leave room for the muffler length. i have not decided on the muffler but would like low restriction without too much noise. i did have to remove the electric water pump bracket from the Renegade Hybrids cradle and will mount the pump up on the engine compartment rail on a new bracket. i will snap a pic of the prototype headers maybe today..
