I always ask for deferred disposition/adjudication. It'll cost about the same amount as the ticket, but when its done, it's as if the ticket never happened.
Yup, I see that as nothing more than maintaining revenue generation. They know that the only thing we really care about is our insurance premiums. They want us keep speeding.
