Those cars were cool when I was 13 years old, but even then I knew the lines were quirky.
Did the 917 Laser/ Lazer use a Super Beetle windshield?

There was a real problem with the windshields. They originally came out of 70's Opel Gt's. PPG had to recall all of theirs as they would not fit. Triplexx out of England still makes them and they are available from Pilkingtons in North America.
