I
liked my E28. It was relatively light for a sedan, kind of simple compared to newer cars: louder, rawer.
I would probably buy another, happily, but at this point they have all been driven into the ground. I feel the way McLovin does about E28s. An E28 M5 is a sweet car, but by the time I got a nice one, I'd wish I just got a 911SC for the weekend and a 10-year-old Corolla to putt to work...Most Beemers are just too much of a compromise for me.....either as sports cars or as haulers/commuters
HOWEVER, someday I wouldn't mind putting an E28 M5 motor into a track car, maybe a well-setup 944...
