A good friend of mine went to Egypt and did a 2 week tour with Dr. Zahi Hawass, the famed Egyptian archeologist. He was able to go "behind the ropes" and see a lot of stuff most of us would never be able to see. He said the paintings and colors of the heiroglyphics were vivid amazing, as if painted yesterday. This is a guy who takes some very wild and odd trips and said this was "hands down" the most amazing trip of his lifetime.
