General buyer beware on a 968 with a bad clutch: they have dual-mass flywheels, and typically those need to be replaced if the clutch goes bang. They cannot be resurfaced.
An extra 8 hours of labor for the 944 clutch = the price of a DMF. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.
Nice car, just keep in mind the parts alone are going to approach $2000 to do it right.
