Has anyone had this problem before?? Both seats hit a hard stop before going all the way back. I'm 5'-10" and it barely goes back far enough for me to drive. I have another pair of seats that do slide all the way back. The car is a 1972 and the seats are from a later model that have a wire sticking out of the bottom, but fit the rails just fine. I removed the seat rails and the rails by themselves slide back all the way...when I bolted them on the seat it stops ~ 2/3 way back.
