He rinsed my ear with creosote, then rinsed it again really really well to get ALL the creosote out. Said something about the creosote would keep eating away until my brains were gone. My ear was 100% well by the time I hit the parking lot. It was definitely one of those huge relief moments in my life.

yikes. been to the ENT. its been an on going thing since I was 2 (44 now). They flare up for no reason and make life a pain in the #$@. No pain just lots of discomfort. I'll tell the doc about creosote on Friday.
