the only country currently with all the same design is FRANCE. cheaper to build/cheaper to install/overall costs less.
in the u.s. its all over the map as far as who built what. each plant different. PVNGS (palo verde nuklar gen station) 55 miles west of phx. was the last built in the u.s. as far as i know.
dept of energy controls all of them. running them to guarding them. anything nuklar and the dept of energy is there.
