For my tablet, I picked up an Apple Bluetooth keyboard. But, I use it rarely. --also, being bt, it's not allowed on airplanes.
If you've ever studied that ancient art of cursive hand writing you're all set. The windows inking input is fast and comfortable. Just don't make the mistake I made at first; don't write like an engineer. Skip the urge to write well-formed block letters, and start scribbling like a doctor late for a T-time, and you'll be set.
You may need to add unexpected words to the the dictionary, as needed... like your name, or abbreviations. Once those words are added, it's really smooth sailing.
You can also use the voice input - tho' that takes much longer to train ...both for the computer, and the user . . . the cmptr needs to learn your habits, and the user needs to learn to say things like "period, new-line" at the end of a sentence/paragraph.
