Rick, you should check out NYC I was there in December and of all my trips those where those most expensive drinks by far, It was OK to pay for a $17 drink. My wife and I see anything under 10 bucks for drinks on vacation and we are siked.
Tabs, the pawn stars was just cool to say you've seen it. I waited in line maybe 5 mins to get in. It is a very small pawn shop. and not much cooler than a thrift store, but I had fun.
