Thanks for sharing. Personally, I like both Porsches and Chevys. The small block should be a reliable runner for you with a lot of low end grunt. So what if it isn't everyone's cup of tea... it's your car and if it makes you happy, go for it.
I'm impressed that you managed to get it all together and that it works well for you. Putting together engines and cars that weren't designed to go together is a bigger project than I would be willing to do.
