They were about the same price as a Pantera, in the high 20's to low 30's for a clean driver condition car. Then as now, perfect museum pieces would attract bigger money. Miuras weren't that big of a deal back then.
They didn't become really popular until the mid to late 90's, just like the Jalpa may do.
And no, I barely had enough to pay the bills and put food on the table for my young family back then.
Life got easier.
