As some of you may have suspected from some of my previous posting... English is my second language and only learned it in my late teens when I joined the Navy. So I did not benefit from learning in school with emphasis on grammatical rules and learned a lot of badddd words
My biggest problem beside the "ed" and "s" at the end of words (which always end up being the reverse of what I think it should be), is not knowing better.
For 10 years, I wrote "even though" in one word as it sounded to me (evendo).
One day, my boss was reviewing a PER that I wrote on a subordinate. He made a few redline correction and Lo and Behold... I find out that it was 2 words
Yes I know about the overuse of “…” but I love to use it
