I've had one for a couple years, it took over a minute to boot before it would even let me open the DVD tray. I hated waiting there for the damn thing to open...

So I bought a new one with a good review in terms of boot speed, sure enough it opens the tray in seconds, but..... then it takes even more time "loading" the damn thing, twice as long as the old player... Karma is mocking me... Sometimes it just doesn't even get to the menu at all, you gotta reboot it... Java crap... I'm 0 for 2 so far. Are there any less sucky BR players out there ?

That's just used for Netflix anyway, I refuse to buy the discs at those overinflated prices, except maybe Le Mans ;-)
