I had no driver's side visor when I bought my car. The mirror was off too. Passenger visor was in bad shape. I bought a used set of visors in better condition than mine, but never installed them because I got too used to the visibility without them. I'm tall too.
But there have been times, driving into the sun, that I wish I had the visors... or I wish I had ordered one of those moveable aircraft sunblock things like
DIM-IT MOVEABLE VISOR from Aircraft Spruce. I'm sure there are other versions as well.
