The Benz isn't known for its sportiness. I'm assuming the 5 series is more fun to drive than the E350. Mercedes seems to want to insulate the driver from the road. So the question is whether I'm willing to accept really bad ergonomics in exchange for better power and handling. I need to test drive the E-class. With an NA engine I wouldn't have to worry about a turbo going out and all the complex crap associated with that. Might be willing to own it past the warranty expiration.
