Hey Guys this may be a little long winded, so please bear with me for 5 minutes...So a few months ago, i purchased a 930, one of the cars i'd wanted since I was a kid. My father passed away from metastatic prostate cancer a week and a half ago and naturally, I've done some reflecting. As much as I love this car, I need to be realistic and downsize for a while until i have the space, energy, and time to work on it.
So, the purpose of this post is to see if A: If my price for the car plus included parts is reasonable, and B: If it's worth fixing the things that are wrong with it.
Here are the details:
I bought this car from a kid who got the car from his dad who walked out on the family. Prior to me owning it, the car hadn't been driven/registered since '98. Before that, little history is known except the car fax. I had the engine completely gone over for a clean bill of health before i started driving it.
'83 Euro 930 (vin number upon request), CarFax checks out clear. Has an aftermarket Steel slant nose and cooling duct upgrade. Boxed rockers, sport seats, aftermarket front bumper. Everything otherwise is pretty much stock.
The bad:
* When a neighbor was helping me load the car onto a trailer, he didn't tell me that the PASSENGER FENDER WAS HITTING THE DAMN TRAILER AS WE CONTINUED TO PUSH IT UP!! So as a result, there's a ding/paint damage on the passenger side bumper and fender. There's also a couple paint chips here and there.

*The windshield is cracked - looks like the rearview mirror was knocked pretty hard and the windshield cracked (and the mirror fell off)
*The deck lid release is kinda finicky
*Somebody at some point installed some aftermarket POS alarms and a stereo, and the wiring is a bit messy.
*As a result of the above, the fuel enrichment unit from under the passenger seat was relocated to the trunk, to make room for the amplifier.

*Couple of oil leaks
*Boost leak/dies at idle (this will definitely be fixed)
*Odometer JUST stopped working. I can verify this, as the miles were different when i bought it, to where it is now.
*One of the functions on the drivers seat does not work.
*a/c removed
*needs new door panels. There's nothing functionally wrong with the ones there, but the compartments are kind of loose and flimsy.
Man, that sounds pretty bad. It's just a bunch of little stuff, but it sure looks like a lot in writing. Honesty is the only policy though....
The good:
*Great cylinder leakdown numbers. 2-3.5% across the board.
*Steel slant nose kit, no garbage fiberglass.
*Low mileage - just under 45,000 miles. (picture taken a few months ago, now shows a little higher)

*Engine runs strong, when boost leak is not present. Starts up every time.
*Engine just had new valve cover gaskets installed, oil change, leak down test, new spark plugs, heads torqued, and valves adjusted, by Bauer Porsche Repair, in Oakland CA.
*Euro car with clean california title.
Spare parts:
*I purchased this engine (long block) from a local seller a few months ago. It's fresh with new gaskets, though the engine has 2-3k miles on it. Again, Chris Bauer at Bauer Porsche can verify that A)the engine is in top notch condition, b) the gaskets are new.

*Two brand new PTE-5857 custom built turbos from Precision turbo. Specs: 58mm BILLET Compressor Wheel, 57mm Turbine Wheel, T3 V band with .63 a/r., S-Cover with Ported Shroud - 4" Inlet and 2.5" Outlet with Anti Surge Cover. This is what Reaper930 recommended to me.
*Used GHL headers bought from another member on here, havent even taken these out of the box they were shipped in.
*Porsche 964 plastic intake manifold, minus fuel rails. Complete with injector blocks, throttle body.
*I have a pair of lightly used CCW Classics, 17x8 for the front, with azenis rt-615 (older model) tires on them. I also JUST ordered a set of 17x11.5 for the rear, which will have kumho v700 315/35 mounted on them. They're not even here yet.
*Two bosch 044 pumps, brand new in boxes.
*Clint at Rebel Racing is restoring a set of front struts for me, and doing a custom coil over kit, and modifying the struts for the Double adjustable koni-8611-1257race inserts.
So, with all of that in mind. Given that i have well over $15k in spare and new parts, is $35k a fair asking price? It's less than what i've got into it overall...If not, would fixing the majority of the issues get me closer to that (new windshield, new door panels, cleaned up wiring, fender/bumper re-painted)?
