I'm typing this on the MacBook Pro 13.3 that I bought last year; it is very thin and light. I carry it in my pack and never know it was there, compared to my Sony Vaio K35 which was 8.5 pounds, and had a two pound brick. The two were more than TWICE what I weighed at birth!

I went to buy a MacBook Air, but when I used the Air and the 13.3 Pro...I realized that the tiny weight advantage of the Air was irrelevant, and I like having a DVD drive.

-This computer puts that stupid Sony Vaio [3.08 ghz processor...] away as if it was a chevette racing my 928. I'm serious- that is a good metaphor for a speed comparison of these two computers! The Apple product works SO MUCH BETTER it isn't even funny!

I can't say much about OS ["Snow Leopard"], other than it occasionally pisses me off....but the computer works so much better that it more than makes up for it.
