Well at least you have outlets to trouble shoot. Being an electronics guy, this should be a POC for you. Get what electricians call a 'tone' for tracing if the problem isn't apparent after you open each box.

Then you'll know how many individual circuits there are. You may have to run a home run for your more hungry devices and install a dedicated circuit. An efficient way to provide additional circuits is to put in a sub panel. You could probably get away with a 30A 220v spit up into lighting and a couple of outlets, another bank of outlets and a dedictated 20A outlet for your wax pot.

Obviously, you won't be able to run the table saw and everything else at the same time. And, you may be shy of meeting code, but I ain't tellin'.
