I've been using 4.0 for a little while now and it definitely seems to be an improvement in resource management and speed over the previous 3.6 versions.
Not only that, but the vertical space is maximized by putting the menus in one drop down in the title bar of the window.
I'm diggin' 4.0.
That's all of the menus and everything. I do have tabs over on the right hand side of the window.
