Please help identify this part
Can anyone out there tell me what this is? It is some sort of plug in system test module. It is in the origional box and static protective wrap. says PORSCHE-Systemtest PPG 201-1-eng 1 687 023 044 BOSCH 9288/5 Made in Germany
Outside of box says 000 721 928 85 date 5/21/90 Hand written on box is "module before 1990". Any value to this?
