thats pretty cool mike! the gray you used is actually the interior color pert~near.. that would be impossible in vinyl. my plan was to spray just the head lamp covers with a sturdy paint in white. then i was going to cut strip vinyl down with a strait edge attempting to blend it at the lamp bucket. in the spirit of the factory car it would need the soft circular lines you have recreated off the front edge to form the horizontals.. not so much into doing as much on the fenders as you show until this gets serious enough to tow it to the paint shop.. thats not really in the spirt of more time than money laboratories
so maybe a "tribute" is an overstatement in that its more a bad attempt at a copy...
actually, if i was only somewhat familiar with the old factory racer might i not pick up a poorly attempted tribute..
