As far as climbing indoors with a helmet? Totally pointless, when you are climbing on top rope, there is pretty much 0 chance of bashing your head.
Oh and Dave, I shouldn't admit this, but there may or may not be pictures if me autocrossing without a helmet... In the wet....
Again, very little risk.
