This is my "new to me" 2003 base model, 5 speed, PSM and Bose sound system. What a beautiful driving automobile. I wanted to say thanks for all the info I have gathered on this board over the last few months before I pulled the trigger on one.
Two quick questions:
I have seen some conflicting info, including the owners manual, about whether or not a 2003 needs a radio code. Anybody confirm this?
Also wanted to know if anyone knows which relay controls the Bose amp. After I had been driving a few hours I lost all sound from the stereo. After I stopped for an extended time, it worked again. I'm thinking thermal issue with amp or relay. I plan on checking the cooling fan on the amp too.
