Sorry to hear that news.
He was never one of my favorite writers...seemed to be somewhat of an an ego-maniacal elitist. And "Automobile" magazine wasn't...and still isn't... very good in my opinion. ("Cogito ergo Zoom "..really, who was he trying to impress with that line ?) But, I never met him. He may have been a wonderful guy. I shouldn't speak ill of the dead. His BMW 2002 article was good I will say.
