) in a piece written by the owner ! A short time later he is selling it and says his is the best available.
He bought the car 6 months ago, hyped it in the article and on the web (Heck the guy even says he thinks his own writing makes it worth more) and now he has it on ebay with a 'no reserve' auction which is a nice touch as the customer appears to imbue the value.
Call me a cynic but It's like a truffle : made to seem rare & desirable and thrives on poop being spread around it.
The reality: under the nice looking paint it's a car with an 85HP VW motor, Vanagon brakes, and a 5k redline that tops 90mph with a gale behind it.
