Vanwagon brakes???? NOT!!! Same brakes as any 76 911,however they use non-vented rotors at all four corners. The factory rated horsepower was a whole 86 HP not 85 HP LOL!!!!Top speed is 115 MPH,not 90. I have owned many 911's,912's,and even drive a 924 Turbo daily. The 912E rates very high for drivability/handling,even without a factory rear sway bar. Take this into consideration, when my 76 912E #1863 was new,it was lowered to european ride height,by the then new owner. In 1977 the owner took the car to a midwest regional Porsche event, and entered the car in the slalom, where it proceeded outhandle all the 911's and come in first place,in the husband/wife division[Have Panamera mag. to prove this] Kind of strange for a lowly 86 HP car with no rear swaybar??? LOL!!!! Warmest Regards;Chris
